Back to School Ding Dong!

The kids aren’t the only ones looking forward to getting back to their desks this autumn. It’s been a lovely if not unusual summer here at FD, and we’re looking forward to the new season and all that it brings.

While it’s been a treat to have so much down time at home, for a start we’re more used to spending the summer months building up to and getting down at our beloved Green Man Festival.

Luckily for us, and all those other music fans due to attend this year, festival organisers weren’t for letting the annual weekend go uncelebrated and treated us to a montage of magical memories from Wales’ largest music festival online instead.

The Field of Streams virtual event took in never before released set from Father John Misty, Eels and Stella Donelly, among other performances, and definitely helped our summer go with a swing in the process. Thankyou Green Man!

As foreign holidays gave way to woodland walks and beach breaks we also took the initiative to explore the delights on offer to us closer to home, and with the likes of our lovely client Thomas by Tom Simmons restaurant in Cardiff re-opening, we didn’t have to look far.

Now our favourite eatery has a new partnership with Cardiff cocktail bar, Lab 22, approaching in the form of an exclusive showcase evening taking place this month, we’re looking forward to autumn even more!

We also welcomed a string of new clients on board throughout the summer too, including the very stylish Emily May Interiors of Narberth, MedTech innovator Creo Medical and the incomparable singer and broadcaster Wynne Evans, among others.

So, maybe it’s not been such a quiet summer after all, just a little different perhaps – and they do say a change is as good as a rest. If that’s the case, we can’t wait to see what the rest of 2020 has in store!
