November 18 - Ding Dong

Ding….a-ling-a-ling-a-ling….. It’s been a while since we’ve updated our Ding Dong catalogue – apologies to the regular followers out there…we’ve been inundated with calls about when the next instalment will drop. So here it is!!

Since we last updated Ding Dong, we’ve been busy acquiring new clients and a new member of staff – taking our headcount to an eye-watering four!!! The fourth person to enter the Front Door fold is the wonderful Jess Childs. Jess has over 10 years’ experience in PR and journalism and can turn her hand to most copywriting requirements. Jess also boasts a better singing voice than most of those X-Factor contestants so we’re hoping for a “mates-rates” discount on Jess providing the entertainment at the next FD Christmas do.

Client-wise, we’re absolutely thrilled to have picked up leading SME finance provider, Henry Howard Finance, and we are also working with the lovely team at Careercake on the launch of their new, improved platform.

We’ve also spent quite a bit of time working with our online lotto provider client, Lottoland, on the MegaMillions Jackpot that rolled and rolled and rolled….it rolled so much, it became the world’s largest ever jackpot at $1.6 billion. Ordinarily, you’d have to live in the US to buy a Megamillions ticket, but thanks to Lottoland, people in the UK could get in on a slice of the action from the comfort of their own home. From this, we managed to get lovely coverage in Metro and The Mirror, who covered the story.

In December, we will be supporting the “Purple Light Up” campaign throughout South Wales and encouraging businesses and key landmarks to go purple and recognise the economic contribution of disabled employees UK wide. If you want to know more about this, or think you could go purple on December 3rd, please click here! You will be joining the likes of comparison site behemoth GoCompare, the University of South Wales and Cardiff Castle.

So all in all, it’s been a busy few months at the Front Door HQ, but we have had time to treat ourselves to a new whiteboard and also pop along to Beaujolais Day to meet Frank Bruno over a glass or two. On a not-so-positive note, we have all been struggling with a big batch of Brexit-igue....we’re hoping December will lift the fog of uncertainty and we can start looking forward to the future. If only so that we don’t have to think about any more word-play on Brexit….come on Theresa, bring it home love and let’s get on with it!!
