Another very strange month of nationwide lockdown has been and gone, and although we can't say this is how we'd quite imagined the summer panning out at Front Door Comms, there have still been lots of brilliant stories to tell and exciting things happening for clients everywhere!
This month, we kick off with building services consultancy McCann and Partners, who celebrated some of their fantastic team for Women in Engineering Day (23rd June).
We have been lucky enough to work with a number of construction-based companies over the years, and we've loved being a part of so many events and campaigns that celebrate and encourage more women to enter the industry. This June we were over the moon to interview mechanical engineer Victoria Boreham-Payne on behalf of McCann, who shared some brilliant advice to fellow women who want to make a start in the industry.

It's also been another great month for comparison website ActiveQuote, whose data on the rising number of men and women seeking protection insurance has been featured in several industry publications including Informa, Insurance Edge, Cover Magazine and Business News Wales.
You might also have seen ActiveQuote in the Sunday Express this month, where they were quoted on the benefits of income protection insurance for the personal finance segment.
In other lovely coverage news, it's been an exciting few weeks for FinTech Wales, which was awarded £250,000 by Cardiff Capital Region to help shape the future of the nation's FinTech industry - a process that has kicked off with developing a 10 year roadmap for Wales.
You can read all about the roadmap, which will define the next ten years of technology and skills development, in Finextra and Fintech Futures among other places.

We were also excited to launch a new product on behalf of RealRates.com: Realcheck, which uses bank data to help consumers understand what they can afford to borrow, and access accurate loan rates.
The affordability checking service enables lenders to make real-time credit decisions, and we were delighted to announce news of the launch in leading sector publication Mortgage Introducer this June.
This month we're chuffed to be celebrating a new shortlist nomination for identity verification business Credas, which is up for the Innovation in Technology prize at the Wales STEM Awards this year! The team at Credas have designed a cutting-edge platform using facial recognition technology and we're over the moon that they've been recognised for their hard work.

Last but not least, the wonderful Lottoland have enjoyed some fantastic coverage for their latest campaign dissecting the things we want more of out of life, from more flexibility to nicer cars! You can read all about the research in The Sun, The Mirror, The Metro and Heart among lots of others.
And that's a wrap on this month's Ding Dong - we hope you're all taking care and staying safe and we look forward to the day we can see all of our lovely clients, colleagues and friends in the flesh once again!
