As another month draws to a close, could a return to some kind of normal life finally be on the cards? With pubs re-opening and summer holidays in the running for many, there might just be light at the end of the tunnel after all.

As a team we could not be more delighted to be welcoming Air BnB bookings and table service back into our lives after a lively few weeks on the work front which, unlike our social lives, has been no less busy than it was before.

We are fortunate to be working with organisations and individuals who refuse to let the challenges not just of the current pandemic but life in general get in the way of making a difference, and this month has been no exception.

Boxing charity Empire Fighting Chance has defied the odds to continue providing its services to those who rely on them throughout the Covid-19 outbreak. Providing vital services across the South West and Wales, it has supported 636 young people with boxing therapy and delivered over 3,700 coaching hours throughout the pandemic, news celebrated by the Charity Times, Sunday Independent and others.

Welsh disability champion Julian John has also been in the spotlight this month as one of those included in the inaugural People Management Diversity (D&I) Power List, alongside the likes of Sir Lenny Henry and Baroness Ros Altman. Having overcome his own battle with disability to create his highly successful people and development consultancy Delsion, Julian has long been a champion in our eyes and we’re delighted to have been shouting about his latest success in Business News Wales, News From Wales and more.

In the national press, our clients have also been helping consumers nationwide to learn vital financial lessons from lockdown. ActiveQuote has been talking about the benefits income protection can bring in the Metro while loan comparison provider RealRates has also been chatting to MoneyWise and the Daily Mail about a new kind of unsecured loan designed to help retired homeowners pay off an outstanding mortgage too.

At ground level, Bouygues UK also announced its school ambassadors for the new Pencoedtre High School in Barry at a covid-friendly turf cutting ceremony, and home and garden DIYers drove a massive 700% spike in sealant sales at SPC Supplies in the rush to get their patios summer ready too.

A jam-packed July for the Front Door team and our lovely clients we think you’ll agree!
